    I am having a IFB washing machine which I purchased three years back and the machine was working fine.

    On 11th Nov 2010 the machine was not working and immediately I contacted
    your 24 hour help line. They responded promptly and registered my complaint and my complaint number is 5409368.

    On the same day of my complaint, a service engineer by name Mr.Narendran visited the site and inspected the machine. He informed that the drum of the washing machine has to be changed and I have given clearance to change the drum

    From 11th Nov onward, I am following up with your Trichy service center and till date the machine has not been rectified .I have been informed by your Trichy service center that they have received the drum on 16.11.2010 but till date they have not sent the service engineer. I have also called the 24 hour help line several times and informed that the machine has not been serviced but no help from them

    I am regularly following up with your Trichy service center for the past 30 days but no proper response/no action taken and the machine is down for past 30 days

    I could not believe such a poor response and in efficient service support of IFB.
    I am totally dissatisfied by the poor service support of IFB and I never expect such a inefficient support from IFB.

    I have decided to scrap the IFB machine which I purchased only 3 years back at a very high cost and purchase a new washing machine but definitely not IFB.
    I have decided not to buy any IFB product in future

    I am going to take this matter with my friends circle and my officials circle and advising all of them not to buy any IFB product because of its poor service support. I am also going to approach the consumer court for the inefficient service backup of IFB.
    I am also planning to write to all leading news papers of the editor column about the poor service support of IFB so that all general public can aware about the poor service support of IFB

    I am brining this to your knowledge because your company may loose several customers like me because of the poor service support of your Trichy service center even though the product is excellent. I hope you will take corrective action sothat IFB will not loose its client like me.

    I have an IFG Senator 6kg. It was running perfectly for almost 3 years. For the last 1 month we observed a leak of drops of water from the bottom of the washer (and the washer is in good condition and we are able to wash cloths). So I decided to call customer service just to fix the leak. Within a day the service person named Siva, came and he opened up the front panel and cover (without asking me what is the issue and even I didn’t tell the issue assuming that the customer service lady might have conveyed it to him). Then he asked me to bring a cleaning cloth. When I returned back to him with a cloth, he told me that, the important micro controller circuit is burned-out and that is why your washer is not running. And it costs rs.2500+. I got shocked and asked is that also the reason that the washer is leaking water  !!? Then the guy asked me back “is it leaking?” I really got pissed-off. When he switched the power on, I found the washer (drum) is not running. I immedialty smelled something fishy and asked the guy to pack-up. Any how he demanded Rs.350 for service charge! GOD.. We Indians are really poor/innocent in all sense. Before the guy leaving the house, I asked him to test the washer once again and confirmed that the washer now is not running.

    Later after the guy left, I opened up the washer again and did a mild analysis. To the core of “shockingness”, I found 3 electric connectors disconnected.
    1. that is connected to the micro-controller circuit board. (One of the three jacks to the board)
    2. that is connected to main motor
    3. that is connected to the coil near the coin collector.

    I connected all of them back and the washer is now running perfectly.

    Regarding the water leak.. it is coming from a small hole on a rubber connector near the coin collector.. I sealed with MSEAL and rubber-solution..

    I have purchased IFB machine in August 2009 from M/s Vijay sales –Borivali, Mumbai . I have faced regular problem in the machine and your service department are not giving proper reply. Recently I have reported complaint on Tuesday 28th December,2010 and till date no one has attended.

    This is third time in one year I have found a problem in the machine and your service department is not giving proper response.

    Also I have already inform your service department that we both are working so pls. depute your engineer after 5 O’clock in the evening , but regret to say that they came in afternoon without informning us.

    This is with regard to ( CUSTOMER ID 2640904) the Washing Machine purchased from Pai International, Bangalore & we had to wait for 2 weeks as that particular model (Serana sx 5.5Kg) that we were interested was not available, we waited & it was installed on the 21st of Novemeber its not even 2 months & we are experiencing technical issues with the Rinse not working & I called your customer service & was promised that a technician would be sent in 24 hours & that promise was kept, the tech came this afternoon checked & informed that he never had the spare part to replace & will be back by 17:00 this evening if not on
    Monday he would come, is this the kind of service a reputed company lke IFB have to offer a customer who has invested so much of money to buy this machine, the previous machine that we had worked for 6 years giving us a trouble free performance, it was only because of friends who recomended us to go in for IFB we purchased this machine, its so disgusting that its konked of within 2 months, service is really pathetic. Wish I never spent so much money on this machine. We are both working & dont know what time your tech is going to come ON Monday we cant take a days off to wait for your tech. A very unhappy customer!!!!!!
    GOING THROUGH THE COMMENTS BY IFB CUTOMERS I FEEL I HAVE MADE A WRONG CHOICE TOO!

      Service of IFB centres is very poor.Fist engineer visited said water valve is not working priced around Rs 400/- , Second engineer come says water valve is ok but motor , timer etc not working repalcemnt cost Rs 4000/- , machine still not working. Smart ways you engineer are fooling & looting innocent customer.Regret having purchased your machine.

    I bought an IFB elena in 2007. It is under extended gaurantee of 7 years. But the service is extremely poor. No one attends to the machine. Even when they do, they do not correct the mistake. They only try to sell some other product, which we have often been pursuaded to buy from them There is not proper phone number available.     We have bought an IFB Executive model washing machine 10 years back.It was working satisfactorily till 2008.But in 2008,there was a complaint of belt slipping during final spinning stage.This complaint was registered then with IFB customer care and as per their instructions it was attended by a service engineer under the banner of (V-care Enterprises,Nasik.During that visit,hey had replaced certain spares all worth Rs3635/-(bill no:- 053 dt 29/1/2008.But the same problem repeated in 2009,that time they billed us a service charge of Rs562/- which they gave in IFB letter head(bill no 2355 dt 01/09/09) and replaced certain spares worth Rs 900/- (1338 dt 01/09/09)which they gave in V-Care Enterprises letter head.But now again we are facing the same prob,and this time we were told by IFB customer care that Nexgen is the only authorised IFB service centre at Nasik.Now we are confused whether we were cheated these many days as the service was also not proper and problem is repetitive.And even we have to follow several times,to get a service.At times we dont even get proper response.This time when we came to know about it,we reported this to Nexgen who is also not giving proper response.Pls tell us whom to contact to get a proper service of the well esttemed IFB product?iHow can we believe IFB product if such is the after sales service?f Nexgen is the only service authority at Nasik,Then who is V-Care?

    We expect a proper response to our complaint as we still have faith in IFB as a corporate.Again requesting to take necessary action at the earliest as this will create a black mark on IFB

    My IFB washing machine which is under AMC started malfunctioning a month ago. As usual I called up the customer support and registered a complaint .Following that the problem was unattended for nearly
    a week and I called up the customer support again and registered a fresh complaint. This time they gave me the telephone number of the IFB service agent who is serving my area.

    Then on I started calling the service agent (who most of the time does not pick up the call). Finally after a week long repeated calling and follow up a technician turned up and did some repairing work. After finishing the work he told me that the Rubber belt needs to be replaced and descaling to be done. He charged me Rs. 750 for descaling (used 5 packets of descaling powder costing rs. 150 each) powder and rs. 650 for the Rubber belt. I really don’t know if the rubber belt really costs rs. 650? Do they used 5 packets for a single descaling process?

    Ultimately ,what happened was that he put the washing machine on with the descaling powder(and told me that it has to run for a full washing cycle for 2 hours) and left. The machine did not even work for 30 minutes it stopped and the Rs.750 worth descaling powder got wasted.

    What should I do? Who should I trust? IFB company can easely wash their hands by pointing finger at an ill trained employee of a 3rd party service agent? And the 3rd party agent is finding ways to extract money from the ignorant customers with or without the knowledge of IFB! There is no accountability and responsibility at both ends with this type of customer support! But customer has no way out but suffer !!..

    Dear Sir/ Madam,
    This is with reference to my ongoing complaint related to my Top Loading IFB Washing Machine, which is on since December’2010.
    After my last complaint which was registered on line during January’2011, the complaint was attended by Sr. Engineer and some parts called bar was replaced. But after few days of the repaire smoke had came out from the controll panel while washing and the machine stoped working. Further, we have lodged a complaint vide no:- 5816594; on 28th Jan’11 and the call was attended by the Service Engineer Mr. Vireender, after inspection the Machine, he said the controll panel would be changed as it is not in working condition. Further, he said it happned as water went inside, but he could not able to show the trace of water and no body will pour water on the controll pannel intentionally. Further, he said it will be charged aprox-Rs.3000/- to replace the controll pannel. When we have told that the warrenty period is still not over and it is valid till July’2011, he reffused to entertain us. Where as we have the purchase bill and warrenty card with us. Hence, we may request you once again to look into my request and depute some boy senior & sencible to attend my complaint and get the machine repaired without any charges.

    extended two years warranty.Machine model is AW60-806 I have booked complaint on

    24/11/2010. After so many days there are bundels of excuses. On 3/12/they informed me that

    part is not in stock. They gave me number of Ankita Srivastava but since 04/02/10, Mr. Atul

    Garg the senior who really don’y know how to talk with a customer he is very ill mannered

Your person visited and told that the drum is broken and he dismantle all the machine. By that day the machine is in same condition.     deptt. but there is no positive response.
    So Please tell me are you able to solve my problem?

    Dear sir,
    Iam a customer of IFB from 2007. Ihas purchased IFB washing at Madurai. Recently Got shifted to Coimbatore. I had slight leakage of water from bottom of the m/c. For which i have complaint in the month of Jan( last week).repeatedly in march.
    Your Engineers(mr Hakimm) have come and told there is leakage in the pipe which needs to be replaced. Then told need to weld the body of the M/c since there was slight rusting. I did that also.They came to reassemble the M/c after repeated follow up.Then also the same was not working. Then they told to replace the timer and so ..on.Its almost 45 days now the problem is not rectified,.They are sending some fresh trainees none of the senior person has attended.Finally ihave to ask ur engineer to get out of my place and have told him that i wo`nt pay for any thing.Now somebody named BABU(8012510557) called me for service charge. Now Pls tell me SIR ,my problem is not resolved how shamelessly who have asking for service charge. You have to pay me for ur pathetic service.My m/c had aproblem of leakage now entire m/c they have opened and is not working.
    I am very disappointed the way things were handled, my time is wasted money is wasted.I regret my decision on choosing IFB.
    I have decided to scrap the IFB machine which I purchased only 3 years back at a very high cost and purchase a new washing machine but definitely not IFB.
    I have decided not to buy any IFB product in future
    I am going to take this matter with my friends circle and my officials circle and advising all of them not to buy any IFB product because of its poor service support. I am also going to approach the consumer court for the inefficient service backup of IFB.
    I am also planning to write to all leading news papers of the editor column about the poor service support of IFB so that all general public can aware about the poor service support of IFB
    I am brining this to your knowledge because your company may loose several customers like me because of the poor service support of your Trichy service center even though the product is excellent. I hope you will take corrective action sothat IFB will not loose its client like me.

    I have registered a complaint three months before but no one has attend the fault. one man has come and told me wait for another one week . still i am awaiting for him. the drum of senorita plus is not rotating well. AMC period is active. I dont know why the international company has such a worst customer care official. i hope you will take necessary action to rectify our problem soon

    Dear customer care officer,
    I am sorry to say better you can quit from your IFB product manufacuting.
    I bought IFB w/m 5 years back. Still it works well. I just want to make a preventive maintenance so that I called the toll free help line (????? It is not toll free) and they booked my complain as 6205658 and they send the service personnal in the next day.
    I forgot his name and his cell no is:9894507181
    I told him to have a PM and I said there is no trouble in the m/c. And I said there is water leakage in some time from the drain area.
    Then he opened the m/c and he said the draining motor is in fault. I shocked and said no there is no such a problem in my m/c.
    Then he said it cost will be Rs.4500/- plus.
    And he said if I want to change the motor by tomorrow he can change it by Rs. 1800/- and also I have to make an AMC immediatly. And also he asked me to widhdrawl the complain with the IFB.
    I said him how it is possible to reduce the amount from 4500 to 1800. He said that it will be claim in another customer.
    I said no I dont want to make the AMC and changing the motor as well.
    Suddenly he closed the m/c and asked Rs.350 as a service charge. I asked him why you are charging Rs.350 even without cleaning the m/c.
    He said this the amount they are charging as service charge. I paid the amount and he asked me the sign in his bill and he noted as filter cleaned.

    THE IFB SERVICE PERSONNAL ARE CHARGING THE AMOUNT EVEN THEY ARE NOT CLEANING THE MACHINE. THEIR MAIN AMBITION IS TO CHEAT THE CUSTOMER.

    Then I made call the same cc help line and they gave a number 044-22411728. The conduct person name was Ms Gayathri.(Who left the job from IFB)But there is no response to my call.
    Then I got a no from the cc help line they gave one who Mr Nagarajan cell no which is switched off.
    Then I got another no from the cc help line they gave Mr Thiru’s no 9381086792. I tried more than 25 times to this no. at last one who picked the phone and he said his name was Mr Ravi.
    I narrated this all problem to him and he assured me to come back after half and hour. But in the evening only I conducted him and he made a conference call to Mr Nagarajan and both of them assured to send the service personnel today but still no one is attended the problem.

    IF YOU SHOULD NOT REPLY ME IMMEDIATLY I MAY SUIT A CASE AGAINST YOU IN THE CONSUMER COURT WITH IN A WEEK.

    Please don’t try to make your customer fool. If so, you will never in the market in soon.

    Dear Sir,
    SUB: Very poor Service Support of your IFB Madipakkam service Center situated at No.114, Bazaar Road, Sadasivam Nagar, Madipakkam, Chennai New Saraswathi Hospital.
    I am having a IFB (senator 6 kg Aqua Sr.No.WTSTR6kgB20365) washing machine which I purchased three years back and the machine was working fine.
    On 29th February 2012 the machine was not working and immediately I contacted
    your 24 hour help line. They responded promptly and registered my complaint and my complaint number is 8356346.
    On the same day of my complaint, a service engineer by name Mr.Venkatesh from IFB care, No.114, Bazaar Road, Sadasivam Nagar, Madipakkam, Chennai New Saraswathi Hospital visited the site and inspected the machine. He informed that the motor and controller of the washing machine have to be changed and I had given clearance to change the motor and controller by paying the cost for the both for Rs.6000/-. But he suggested that the same would be replaced at free of cost, if I entered into an AMC for 2 years by paying Rs.4036/- instead of Rs.6000/-. Accordingly, I paid a sum of Rs.4036/- by way of cheque No.713107 dated 29.2.2012 drawn on State Bank of India and the cheque also realized. On receipt of the payment, he promised to replace the same within a week. After one week, I contacted the Madipakkam service centre and informed them the fact. They told me that the same would be replaced only after 40 days from the date of entering into AMC, but the same has not been mentioned in the terms and conditions of the Contract and also he has not been informed by the service engineer at the time entering into an AMC. I am regularly following up with your Madipakkam service center, but no proper response/no action taken and the machine is down for the past 13 days, keep on telling that both are available. I have also called the 24 hour help line several times and informed that the fact, but no help from them. I could not believe such a poor response and in efficient service support of IFB. I am totally dissatisfied by the poor service support of IFB and I never expect such an inefficient support from IFB.
    Due to mental agony, I am not interested to continue the contract and which may kindly be terminated and refund the amount immediately. In case, if you are initiated any action in this regard, I am going to approach the consumer court for the inefficient service backup of IFB.

    Sir,

    I would like to inform you that I have purchased IFB Washing Machine Elite SX via invoice number C-10647/10-11 dated 29.03.2011 from their dealer M/s KBM Electronics ,Laxmi Nagar,Delhi-110092. Here I also like to highlight that this was a decision I took after doing much research on the best available automatic washing machines in the Market and sentiment attach to it was this that this was an anniversary gift to my wife.
    All efforts and happiness goes in vain as in next few months after purchase and we started realising that it was not a right decision to go for an IFB WM as the washing machines started giving troubles on continuous intervals and now it has become a nuisance value to our life.
    Following are the details of the complaints and problems we have faced and are facing till date.
    1. Complaint Number:7385436 (August,2011 –September,2011)
    Complaint Code:
    Remarks: The machine was getting stopped from time to time. No cycle was complete out of given options.
    Action taken by the company: The digital plate was faulty and has been replaced and the executive who visited us had claimed Rs.276 as service charges from us and give us invoice number 15048 ( M/s Magic Service and Marketing D1/15,Chatterpur Hills, New delhi-110074)).
    2. Complaint Number:7028959 (December,2011-January,2011)
    Complaint Code: 2769859
    Remarks: The machines have started making huge noise while spinning as if some air plane is landing and all of our neighbours have started complaining for disturbance caused.
    Action taken by the company: The stone plates around drums were found detached and new stone plates around drums were replaced.
    3. Complaint Number:8455985,8473745 (March,2012)
    Complaint Code: 2769859
    Remarks: The machine was again making some strange noises.
    Action taken by the company: We have been suggested by the company that service which is due will solve the problem if any and executive came and do normal service said that everything is perfect.
    4. Complaint Number:8778343 (May,2012)
    Complaint Code: 2769859
    Remarks: The strange noise was heard from lower part of the washing machine again and finally it stopped working.
    Action taken by the company: The executive visited on 04.05.2012 and said that motor now has to be replaced which still is pending and my machine is lying in the corner waiting for the action.
    If anyone go through the details can easily make out the mental agony, frustration and disappointment from last 14 months after taking wrong decision in buying IFB Company’s product. Almost every part have been replaced still there is no guarantee that it will work properly after words also. My wife and I are deeply hurt and are disturbed by the problems this machine is giving now and then.

    Company is not ready to replace the machine and we are facing humiliation now and then.Please see that we now need the new machines earliest as possible.

    I have IFB- AW 7233,top load fully automatic washing machine I live in Sirsa,Haryana. I contacted ifb service center as it was not working properly,their agent came & told me that top cover of machine has to be replaced,on asking the total expense I specialy mentioned that the estimate should be to the mark because they have the habit of increasing the bill later as always earlier it happened when I bought the Trolley & then the same when I bought the cover,he assured me that the total bill will not exceed Rs 2000/-, I accepted & asked him to replace, he then didn’t showed up for a weak,then again I called him, I have to call him again & again finally he came after a month & guess what I was placed with the bill of Rs 3450/-. Upon asking him why so he said the rates have been increased by the company means double the estimate, I asked him to show me the rate list he said they don’t have rate list for parts . My dear friends this is not the first time the same happened to me twice earlier by companies service center I can do nothing, So I am allerting all people don’t ever buy any IFB product they are good only till selling, their service is very poor, costly & specialy they have no rate list for service.

    We have requested to rectify the problem to our Elena model IFB washing machine. The customer id no. 10014726 and 10045251. Mr. Khaleza the techincian visited our house on 02.08.2012 and checked the machine and informed there are to hose pipes got damaged and he will replace the damaged spares immediately on the next day. Today is Monday i.e., 06.08.12. Till date he has not turned so far for rectification and he has not given his mobile no.Ist is a matter of 1/2 hr. job.But he has not turned or informed to me. He may have problems, but he must be informed me about his problem. I have not gone any where as Mr. Khaleja will visit at any time. Till date no resonse from him.

    I am using your IFB washer model(senator 6kg).I have a problem with its inner rubber,the
    problem with it is that it has been torn and i am unable to use my machine since 10 days.I
    have lodged a complaint regarding it in the customer care cell.Also i have been given a
    complaint no regarding it.The complaint no is 10203210.I have been consistently given different
    contact nos of different company personnels.But they are unable to resolve my problem.So also

    company.Also you people take money before hand and does not provide the customer with the services .Your company promises while taking money.This shows that your company is intentionally cheating with

    i find that the descaling powder that ifb service agent provides has exorbitant rates.although he gives me receipt but the whole package comes in a cardboard box with no name ,batch no or mfg date or mrp.inside the box also the packets have nothing on them.do u want we consumers to believe that that powder is
    —descaler?
    —no need to know the details about the product that u r selling us?
    —that u are cheating us in any way?
    also it is against the law.

    Sir,

    Sub : Very very bad service at your bangalore service centre.

    This is to inform you that, we had a IFB front loaded 7kg automatic washing machine and it was repair and complaint to service centre at Bangalore about 20 days back

    After one of compliant serivice enginer Mr.Pasha visited my house and took card from machine and informed will be replaced within two days.

    But even after one week he has not returned, again i requested with Manager Mr.Peter
    he assured that the machine will be repaired 4 pm on that perticular day

    but till today 12.02.2013 machine is not repaired, really iam very upset with you service.

    Now i will start telling with my freinds and relations that not to purchase IFB products in furture.

    It is an great experience for me, after investing Rs 32000 and above by purchasing IFB washing machine.

    Hence forth we wont do like this mistakes and select the good product.

    Ref: IFB Washing Machine – Top loading model AW60-8061 bearing serial no: 11100315

    Above said washing machine was purchased by me on 27-12-2012 thorough van sath and Co north usman road chennai branch. The warranty period said for the the machine is for 2 years and it expires on 26-12-2013.

    From November 2012 the machine is not functioning well and you may aware that so many complaints made by me.

    Two major operations were made to me, one in April 2012 and dec 2012. Twin granddaughters born to me in may 2012. Ten days back my wife had heartacttack. In that situation i contacted the ambattur sevice centre in person and over phone.

    Last complaint was made to your good office over phone on 25-02-2013 and that was attended by your staff NIVEDITHA madam and she assured to me that she will refer the matter to her superior and arrange to and complaint a request immediately.

    The next day unskilled technician mr.vignesh came and told that he is not able to rectify the fault. The same day evening another unskilled technician mr.kartick came and told that he will come with a senior technician along with new board. Even after a lapse of ten days nobody has come to my house and repaired the machine. I am asking you in such a situation what you will do?

    Technician as well as incharge of the service centre at Ambattur, Chennai is utter waste. The incharge of the serice centre is not adhere to my request in a humble way, so i am not intend to beg him here after. So i am giving this written complaint to you either replace a new machine immediately or make the machine to function well in 24 hours. Otherwise i am regret to say no other go for me instead of constraint to file a case against your company in the consumer court for imperier quality and breach of warranty, if you have not obliged my request.

They are sending some fresh trainees none of the senior person has attended. this problem is from last 2 years. They come and ask to take yearly contract and then change the motor and another parts. So we can do that but when we are complaining another person is coming and then ask us motor and all the parts are ok. They blame us you add lots off powder, you do not use the god powder etc….. But they do not solve the problem. Everyday they close our complain without solving the problem.
    I am very disappointed the way things were handled, my time is wasted, money is wasted. I regret my decision on choosing IFB.

    Myself hold IFB Top load washing machine Model AW7201WB purchased on 13th Nov 2012 in Bangalore.

    Recent the washing machine started leaking from the bottom & accordingly I had contacted the dealer where we purchased but did not get any kind of support.

    On 30th Oct 2013 I had raised a complaint to your customer care no. 080 39004321 and registered a complaint vide no. 11613280 and I was been confirmed that your service team would represent and solve the issue within 24 hours from the complaint date i.e by 1st Nov. But till date no one have turned for the service.

    Please address the issue on top priority and it is annoying to accept such poor customer service from IFB
