    I SUBMITTED FOLLOWING PPF ACCOUNT PASS BOOKS TO SBI GT ROAD, MAIN BRANCH FOR GETTING TRANSFERRED FROM SBOP CHARKHI DADRI MAIN BRANCH ON 3-4-2011. SBOP CH. DADRI RECEIVED PPF PASS BOOKS ON 20.4.2011 AND AS PER THEIR STATEMENT THEY DISPATCHED THE DRAFT/PASSBOOKS/ACCOUNT OPEING FORM ON 2-5-2011. SBI PANIPAT DENIES OF RECEIVING ANY THING FROM SBOP.

    THIS IS WITH REGARDS TO REQUISITION FOR NEW CHEQUE BOOKS AS PER DIRECTIVE OF RBI.
    THE BRANCHES HAVE ALL VALID INFORMATION ABOUT CUSTOMER’S ACCOUNT AND ADDRESS DETAILS. IT IS VERY STRANGE THAT THE BRANCHES ARE ASKING ACCOUNT HOLDERS TO VISIT AND SUBMIT THEIR REQUISITION IN PERSON FOR THESE CHEQUE BOOKS.
    IS IT NOT IMPERATIVE FOR THE BANK TO PROVIDE CHEQUE BOOKS OF THEIR OWN INSTEAD OF CALLING/ CARELESSLY HANDLING THE MATTER UNNECESSARILY?
