    I lost my ATM today and I came to know only in the evening. I am trying to contact all the given Customer service number of United Bank of India, but none of them are answering the call.If they are closed at this time than the Customer service is very poor Its very inconvenience for the customer in this situation.I have to wait till tomorrow to block my card and I don’t even know if someone has already used my card or if the money is still safe…Its very inconvenience and bad a bad customer service..especially for bank customer service should be for 24hrs.

    RIP no0172100219846 was invested for Rs41,231.84on22/3/10 matured on22/3/ 2011.
    Matured amount amount Rs44231.84 was reinvested for 3years @10% but effect is given from25/03/2011 instead of 22/03/11 .
    To get the retrosoective effect I met Manager & Sr.mgr. with no result
    Your bank does not obey RBI guide line?
    Redressal of this issue is requested

    Dear Sir,
    I am a S.B. A/C holder in your bank vide No. 0316010112321 with ATM facility & I have transferred my A/C from Old Bullygunge Branch to Thakurpukur Branch on the month of November, 2010 and after transferring my A/C my ATM is not working. Then I reported to my Bank & the Branch Manager said it was a remapping problem & the Branch Manager as per his Head Office Instruction destroyed my ATM Card & issued a new one & said –”now your problem will be solved”. But still I have been sufferring a lot to do any sort of transaction through my ATM Card & whenever I swipe my ATM it is shown that “Sorry invalid A/C, contact your branch. Please look after this matter immediately otherwise I will take legal steps against you.

    I am used to send payment through my UBI Net banking. I can send payment to all banks in all states but except Chandigarh and Visakapatinam. When ever i try to place IFSC code, it says “No records to Fetch”. Why the bank not sending the payment to specifically these tow cities?

    sir , im srideep bhattacharjee .my address is 73 vidyasagar sarani barisha kolkata- 700008 . i have a savings account in the UBI of james long sarani branch .my account number is 1393010107163 . on 27.02.2012 i entered my atm card in behala manton axis atm .but i have not got the ammount of rupees 7900,i got the receipt showing the credit balance . i was shocked . on the same day i have submitted an application to my UBI bank manager for recovering my money [7900] . still now i have not got back that ammount of 7900 . when will i get that?? plz reply . .

    i lost my atm and wanted to block it . When i tried to contact customer care they were rude and not interested to handle queries .so there is need for ubi bank to do something in urgency to recover with the inconvienience caused to people.

    Sub: Unauthorized Transaction from S.B. A/C – 0933010110928

    With reference to the above noted subject, this is to inform you that I am holding the above mentioned A/C with UBI. On the 13th March (Tuesday) and 13th April, 2012 that is last Friday, there was a withdrawal of Rs. 6000/- and Rs. 8,000/- respectively from the A/C which are reflecting in the bank pass book.

    The above transaction was not done by me, hence I lodged a complaint to the branch manager ( Agarpara Rly Station branch). I have a received copy of the same where he gave me 15 days time period to rectify the same. I also mailed several times and filled up grievance from and complain to customer care. After !5 days I have got the reply with two statement from standard chartered bank. But this is not satisfactory at all. When as a customer I am repeatedly confirming that the transaction was not by me and there is no chance of misplacing my card and there was not any disclosure of my pin number. I was the video footage clips of the atm transaction of the particular time.
    I asked for the same in the last mail as well. But i am not finding any positive reply from the same source who sent me the attached bank statements. I was a prof of the same asap else i have to take the legal action as well as media support.

    Sir,

    With due respect, I want to state that, I am a pensioner of West Bengal Govt. and my pension Acct.(Acct No. 0330010219686) is with United Bank Of India, which is located in Chapra, PO- Bangaljhi, Dist-Nadia, WB,
    PIN-741123.

    On 05 Jun 2012 when I enquired, I came to know that, Rs. 14500/- have been credited in my account as pension, but, Rs. 147/- have been deducted by Bank as their surcharge. Query from Asst. Treasury Officer of my Pension Disbursing Office revealed that, surcharge should not be charged on pensionary benefits.

    I have informed the above mentioned fact to Branch Manager, but he declined to accept my written application and take action against my complaint.

    I request you to look into the matter and direct the concerned office for quick disposal of my complaint.

    i had gone to Biharsharif branch of ubi to open an account. there i saw that there was no respect for students. they were bitten by the guard .only 5 forms were collected for account open .as i know all forms were collected in other banks.
    condition of bank is very poor . this disturbes my tution classes.they call us tomorrow after 5 forms.

    Is there an email address for the customer care department at UBI?

    This is the information age, people. No one has the time or inclination to write a letter, sign it, put it in an envelope and post it at the Great Hemanta Basu address they have. Not everyone has the time to visit their branches and meet the “friendly” and “helpful” officers, or get them to commit to anything in writing. Not everyone has the inclination to be on the phone for half an hour with a “well trained” newsreading teenager to get a simple query answered.

    RESPECTED SIR/ MADAM,

    I am Suraj Kumar Mishra a Savings Bank Account holder bearing No- 0614010087599; UNITED BANK OF INDIA, Saheed Nagar Branch, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. I have one ATM Debit card of UBI bank in this Saheed Nagar Branch with card no 4213190614025579. This ATM card was issued to me this year and is valid thru 01/2017.

    On 17-09-2012 (Monday) at Evening 18:13:25 hours I used this ATM card at Bank of India ATM branch at Damana Market, Damana Square, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha to withdraw Rs 10,000/ with correct entries. But the money did not come through the ATM machine. On the other, Rs 10,000 was already debited from my balance as I got an sms to my BSNL mobile no 9437305797. Hence, this is a false transaction. I had operated it correctly, but due to server problem the ATM machine operation became stand still / hang on for 5-7 minutes. I waited for another 15 minutes, but the money was not remitted by the ATM machine to me. But, later the machine wrote your transaction is cancelled. However, by that time the said amount of Rs10,000.00 had already been deducted from my balance wrongly without delivery of money in full amount of Rs10,000-00. I also did not get the Mini Statement.

    The security guard present there told me that mini statement was not coming there for last many days due to some problems in this old ATM machine of Bank of India. He also told me that such incidents of wrongful deduction of transaction amount without delivery or remittance of money to the customer at this said Bank of India ATM branch is quite frequent due to old machine coupled with server slow down.

    So, SIR I request you to solve this problem at the earliest as i am in dire need of money and help me for returning back my money at the earliest to have faith in your customer care practice. Thank You;

    I am a saving bank account holder at Allahabad main branch and my account number is 0269010157350.Working of your branch is very poor, since above one month only one pass book printer is not working. I visited four time in the branch and the man working on the seat reply me “machine kharab hai”. To day I meet to branch manager and he reply me that “kya kare headquarter machine nahi de raha hai.”
    I am sorry to say that if it is true, it is same for me because I am a account holder of this kind of Bank.

    on 26.05.2012 to melaghar (tripura) branch of u.B.I. Where I have a

    Sir, I am drawing my monthly pension through UBI Pradhannagar (code No -39) within a gap of 2-3 months through ATM . Throughly sir, after updating my pass book I have come to know that my monthly pension for the month of November 2012 not yet credited neither any information given me for with held of the same.
    Therefore it is requested that my grievance report may kindly be forwarded to concern authorities for earliest disposal of my matter.
